Alexandra Heminsley

Alexandra Heminsley is the bestselling author of Leap In, a memoir in which she learned to master her fear of wild swimming, and eventually swam to Ithaca.

Alexandra is a ghostwriter, journalist, broadcaster and speaker. Her work has included writing Sunday Times Top Ten sellers, interviewing Jessica Ennis, Paula Radcliffe, and Kyle Edmund, and she has been nominated for the William Hill Sports Book of the Year Award. She has also written about the incalculable value of nail polish, Valley of the Dolls, and periods.

She is currently working on two new books, and is books editor of Grazia magazine and a reviewer for BBC Radio 2.
